Jack Posey exudes positivity.

“I’m livin’ the dream,” he says Wednesday afternoon over the phone. “I’ve wanted to play professional sports since I don’t even remember. To make it a reality, it’s a dream come true.”

It’s a positive outlook he’s grown more accustomed to sharing. One he feels a duty to share — a message of faith and fortitude that’s manifested itself in the Chaos’ playoff run.

Posey has bided his time and been the ultimate teammate. He got into the lineup three times in the regular season. But each week he was there, paying his way to go to each city to watch and support his teammates and get time with them.

That came in the PLL Quarterfinals against the Boston Cannons where he was shuffled into the LSM position after the suspension of Jack Rowlett, one of his key mentors. It was a game in which players like himself, Will Bowen, Ryan McNulty, Jarrod Neumann and Troy Reh all took on different roles for the good of the cause.

He had faith, and he answered the call. It’s not the first time.
