Very excited to announce that we have a new home for VEL – in fact we have two new locations.  We will play games at both George Mason University and Nike Park in Great Falls, just off Rt. 7.   All games will now be played on Sundays.  Games at Mason will begin at 9 AM and finish at 6 PM. Games at Nike will begin at 12 noon and run to 7 PM.  The fields at Mason are Bermuda grass and beautiful!  We will be able to use their turf field beginning in October.  Nike Park is turf with the newest and safest turf and has a nice scoreboard.  It is a great field with plenty of parking – the same goes for Mason, and they have real bathrooms!

We are also going to do our best to have teams play at the field that is geographically closest to your players homes. This will not be easy and your team might not always be at the most convenient location, but again, we will try! 

The thing that I want to stress is no matter where and when we play, VEL will still run the most professional off-season lacrosse league in the area. Certified athletic trainers, electronic score boards, water and Gatorade for sale and reversible team jerseys. 

Player registration will open Tuesday, August 1.
